This is a field evaluation of the Leica PRS 3-30x56mm scope.


The scope:
36.5oz




Turrets:

.1 mil per click, 10 mils per rev, not revolution indicated with a raising center. Elevation has a zero stop, windage is rotation limited.




1st revolution-



2nd rev-


Turrets are tool-less reset. Flip up the silver bar, unscrew, pull turret up, reset, push down, screw silver bar piece back in.






Zeros top is pin on pin type-

Yes indeed. For all those stages with 50 mil wind holds.

Fairly pointless reticle, and weird drop eval results. Good to know this is another one we can likely ignore.

(And for those new to the Side, scopes with roughly equivalent specs that have done well include the SWFA 5-20 x 50, NF ATACR 5-25 x 56, Minox ZP5 5-25 x 56, and Bushnell Elite Tactical XRS II 4.5-30 x 50 - so, still enough options to go around ...)
