Putting together my first custom rifle

After years of wanting to get a custom rifle I've finally decided start gathering parts. I've got an origin long action. Just placed an order for a 20" Osprey prefit 6.5 prc 1:7.5 twist. Im undecided on timney elite hunter or tt primary, but that may come down to whichever I find the best deal on. I've got an xlr element 3.0 aluminum chassis that I picked up used. But im not sure what magazines I should be looking into buying to avoid feeding issues being a 6.5 prc in long action. Any recommendations?

Not sure about the magazine, but the 6.5 prc has a larger base that could possibly be too big for a standard long action. 6.5 prc would probably need a magnum size bolt face. Good luck with the project! Custom rifles can be a whole lot of fun to put together!

I'm going to assume he has a long action with *magnum* bolt face. If not, that's the nice thing about Zermatt actions, you can swap out bolt faces in just a couple of minutes.

That's pretty cool! I've never even heard of that brand until today.
