So I took the wife over to Bass Pro tonight as I had gotten a gift Certificate for an early Christmas. =-) I wanted some compact Binoculars. I already own a pretty decent set of Nikons (well decent in my book) 10x42 monarch x Binos. But wanted something a bit more compact. So took to the counter started out with the Vortex 10x28 Diamondbacks, very nice loved them tried then against the Nikon Aculon 10x25. Vortex won that. Tried out the Leupolds, didnt care for them at all, Then tried the Stieners, But then the guy who was very adept with Bino's through down a pair of the Bass Pro Shop Pursuit 10x32s. Just a bit bigger then the Vortex's but man they were impressive. Im not a huge Bino nut, but these things where super nice and really clear. at 106$ I had to have them. Anyone else try out the Pursuit Bass Pro Binos?
Definitely not HD stuff here folks but for Compact Binos I was very impressed. These are called the X1 Pursuit. I tried them also against some standard Vortex 10x42 Diamondbacks and I found the view to be brighter and much clearer on the edges. Kind of impressed for 100$ binos these little things where sweet.
Would love to hear if anyone else has tried them out?
