If you or a family member is on Facebook, I liked seeing all the videos of EmmyLou retrieving ocean birds and Lake Erie birds on the Lunatic Fringe page. Especially her wounded bird search. Jake's mom threw out some high scoring dogs in her two litters, and he shares a great grandma with my mutt.

It took me about 18 months and conversations with about two dozen breeders to get it narrowed down.

They are very well bred, moms sister has her FC, dads brother has his FC. I was going to compete my female but honestly I have enough expensive hobbies.

I always figured I would get into the field trial game as I got older, but I just like to hunt over good dogs.
Should be a great season this year, seeing birds everywhere after that mild winter.

There’s so much politics and bullshit at the ones I’ve been in that I’m not interested.

I appreciate what field trials express in dogs, but I want a wild bird dog, not a trial dog.

Recessive gene, about 1 in a 100 throw that way. I think they’re cool and different..

My buyers list felt the same way, she’s got 4 interested parties if I change my mind
