Puffy Coat for Archery

I need to add a puffy coat for my early season archery bag. My initial thought was to use my North Face coat, but the nylon outer and is loud and tends to get slapped by my bow string on release.

As I look at the different offerings, I can't find for most what the outer is made of, but they all appear to be nylon.

Anyone make a puffy that isn't a nylon outer or is that the standard?
The kuiu is nice....but I like the first lite.

Look at the Kuiu A is Hybrid Thermal jacket. I have no personal experience with this particular one but I’ve been eyeing it up for similar reasons. It is going to be heavier than a full down coat but definitely more durable since it has soft shell jacket sleeves and reinforced panels

I saw that and was scratching my head. Kuiu has some great stuff....this doesn't make sense to me but I would have to see it in person.

Best idea? Take the soft shell jackets that have no insulation and are cold as heck....and put a light puffy liner in them. I suppose you can just layer your Kenai under the soft shell which is what I do.
