Ptarmigan in Alaska

I haven't really been following it, but there's been talk recently about changes to the process for bringing dogs in from Canada. Just FYI.

they dropped most of it for the canadians as rabbies is not a big issue here ... and certainly few letters sent to Alaska governor by some yukoners ...

Ptarmigan can be tough to find at that time of the year, but above treeline helps. Don't forget about grouse! Seems like lots of opportunities on Spruce, Ruffed and even Sharptail depending on the area. I've run into all three species in central Alaska on the road system.
