Yeah, the only venue ive shot NRL at thus far has a fair bit of that and I end up just glassing/shooting seated/kneeling tripod a lot... until i give in and get a triple pull at least.

I'm pretty sure i'm going to sell my RRS TFCT 24L to fund a gamer tripod and hopefully a smaller/lighter non standing height inverted tripod for hunting. Too many choices/compromises!

Leofoto has coupons all the time (yeah, Chinese) and they have an open box/return section. I got my 2 section as open box plus stacked a coupon!

Yes, i saw that there was a stack of the 50% offs at a 2 day. 282 CMX (the shorter one) seems like a decent option for a hunting tripod.

they seem to give out the 30-50% leofoto certs out like candy at most matches.

The one negative I see about the dauntless is the leg angle locks. They are not near as slick or easy to use as the new updated leofoto leg angle locks. I debated selling both my leofotos to go dauntless but that one thing has kept me from pursuing it any further than that.

It looks like the 3 leg trilogy model has different locks. Is that closer to the ones you like on the new x series leofoto?

Yes that is very similar, little bigger tabs on the trinity. Much easier to adjust. I’m currently still using my original leofoto with the pull tabs. That will be getting swapped out at some point.
