This past season my daughter Grace wasn't able to get out much, but the final week of season, with basketball winding down, she opted to go with me on a pretty blustery day with the wind howling and very cold temps. We spent a few hours looking before we found a group of deer staged up in a brushy draw. It was a bit of a hike in the frigid cold to loop around them and get in position, but the effort was worth the trouble as this buck walked right up to us!!!One of my favorite hunts with her, and a pretty cool experience!
