You are looking at a Custom PROOF Research built stock. No you wont find it on their website. They built this as a prototype some years ago. The feedback on the stock was great but the price to build it was nuts. They figured retail was going to be about 1800 bucks so they decided not to release it. Why? Its a 10k carbon and Kevlar hand laid stock. The bedding is Carbon overlayed as well. It weighs in at about 33 ounces with the adjustable hardware in it. It is hand painted.
I have had it for a while hoping to stick a rifle in it again but have decided to let it go. It is used and shows a few small nicks and hunting wear to it. its been to Africa along my double. NO, the double and built rifle are not part of the deal LOL but wanted to include it so you can see how it looks built
The workmanship is phenomenal. A Remi LA action will snugly fit tight enough to hold without bolts...mating perfectly to the stock. I put the front rail on it and it turned out so good, I am going to leave it too. Two flush cups installed too. Huge upgrade if you are running a factory Remi stock on your LA. Barrel Channel is cut perfectly for a PROOF sendero
I am including the BDL Bottom metal due to how it fits. It is tight enough to hold without bolts!
Not really sure what it is worth but given a new stock of this quality is about 1100 or so, figured I would put it out there are 750 and see what is what. I am open to nego but please, nothing too low...
