Pronghorn's Status Across the West

Yeah, we came acrossed dead pronghorn everywhere those years also.
A travesty.

Yet they still keep over selling tags and selling doe tags.
Fortunately they only issued 11 tags where I hunt antelope and no doe / fawn tags.

My wife and I hunted Montana region 7 the first two days of the opening. We saw very few antelope, and of the 5 bands, only one was on Block Management land. The bands were small with between 8 - 10 antelope. One of the bands did not have any bucks. We have hunted the area over 40 years. I also saw 9 coyotes in those two days, the most I have ever seen there. I killed two coyotes. Also, I saw very few deer while there.
My wife and I will probably hunt a different area for deer this year.

We had that bad winter. Hunters have to "hunt" and refuse to just let em multiply for a couple years, others get doe tags and actually shoot does...
