Promaster XC525C tripod head

Just bought my first spotting scope and I was looking at the Promaster XC525C tripod. I have read some positive reviews and considering purchasing. My question is how does the head that comes with it perform (XC-MH30 Ball Head (3496))? I've seen a couple of people on this forum recommend the Sirui va5 head. Any one have any experience or info?

For context, I would be using for hiking into the back country/hunting.

I asked Joel from Cameraland a similar question recently as I bought this exact tripod from them several years ago and wanted to know its capabilities for shooting. He replied that the head can handle 6.6 pounds and really isn’t capable of handling rifle recoil. He steered me towards benro ball heads. Haven’t gotten around to sorting it out yet, but appreciated his prompt and thorough reply.

my favorite for the last decade or so has been a promaster xc325c. I don’t know if the new 525 is different than the old , but it’s still the most stable sub 2 lb tripod I’ve found. Went from a benro s2 head to a tricer lp this year for weight savings, and have been really pleasantly surprised with it. Great backcountry setup. Side note, I glass using a stool, if I sat on the ground, I’d look into the aziak backcountry for sure.
