I wonder if this one is going to be tall enough....totally not sure. I am 6'3", and I'd like to be able to use it standing up. When I was a photographer, I always found using the center column degraded stability a great deal, so ideally, I'd like to get to as close to 61" as possible, without using the center column. The spotter I just got is angled, so that helps. But this is my first real spotter (the range cheapie I have does not count), so I am not sure what I need here.
Also looking at various other brands like benbo, Sirui, oben, and of course Manfrotto. I have a Manfrotto 055 in aluminum (used for previous photography work) but it's a massive tank. Want to keep the weight to a reasonable level, but my spotter is 82mm, so need good stability.
