PRO V good & bad

Nice rest. Light and pretty low profile. Easy to set up, no tuning needed. It is a little noisier than most drop aways. The biggest con is most of it is made out of aluminum and the screw holes will strip pretty easily. That is why I got rid of mine. Needed to adjust it, loosened the windage screw and it stripped the hole when I backed it out. I didn't feel I have over tightened it in the first place. Figured if it was that soft then it needed to go.

I had one of the earlier models and it broke on me. Vapor Trail took good care of me and sent out the newer production model and I have no problems with the new one. I don't like how my arrow angles down before I draw, but it does not affect performance. Its a good simple rest for a guy like me who is new to archery. There are a lot of good rests out there, the Pro V is one of them. At least from my limited experience and research on rests. .

Thanks for the info. Looks like Im gonna go ahead and pony up the money for the versa rest full containment. No one says anything negative about them except the price it seems.

I have had zero issues with any limbdriver product i have ever owned. I have them on all 4 of my bows and 3 of my wife's. I only have experience with 2 limbdriver pro v's and they have both been perfect. That said, they were all gen 2 pro v's so maybe i missed out on the ones with problems.

I can honestly say that calling them "middle of the pack" is a serious understatement. I can shoot my regular limdriver pro's on my target and field bows accurately out to 100+ yards with very very little tuning. I have shot both of my pro v's on hunting rigs out to 90+ with zero issues with broadhead flight or other wise.

From my experience they are very very durable as well. THe versa rest is great, but i would not scoff at the pro v by any means.

I have the Pro V now and am (testing it) I have been shooting the smackdown pro FC. Ive noticed a little slop in the smackdown 2yrs old now with many shots thru it. I like to test new products as well as my form in the never ending to get more accurate. I think they are both really good rests.
