I was thinking of buying the new 18"-38" Primos bipod but the recent reviews are terrible. My current bipod works for me but is too tall for my wife and I'd like something we could both use. The height adjustment via the trigger is an attractive feature, but unfortunately, multiple reviews complain about the head falling off while in use or just being carried, getting lost in one case. Problems with the legs falling off were also described. Is there anything similar on the market without the quality issues?

Sitting height? Are you looking for a trigger adjustment or just a good bipod?

Sitting or kneeling height. The 18-38 would cover both for both me and the wife. The trigger adjustment is a big plus.

I like my trigger sticks for some uses but tbh I can get a pretty steady hold off a standard bipod. I hook two fingers to bBrace against one of the legs of center post (fully extended) and slide up and down as needed.
