Primo trigger sticks tripod to vortex binocular mount?

Hey
My gf got me the primos trigger sticks tripod, instead of a normal tripod. It was a really nice gesture. I'd like to try to make them work for me. She got then cause they are only 1# she said. She knows I do a lot of hike in hunts. They aren't cheap.
The gun mount comes off and leaves a 1/4″-20 screw sticking out.
Is there a ballhead that will work to attach the quick release vortex binocular mount? That won't cost me a fortune.
Thanks.

Cool. I got one with lots of reviews, we'll see how it goes.

I just returned from a Wyoming antelope hunt where we used the tripod trigger stix for the Vortex spotter. Just removed the rifle rest and screwed the spotter to the base. Worked well and was easy to adjust the legs to zero in on antelope. Didn't use a ball head or any adapter. It only takes a second to attach the spotter to the base.

Cool thread. I have the trigger stick and really enjoy using it. Never thought to use it with my bino's or spotting scope. I have two Vortex Summit SS-P tripods that I use for that, but the trigger stick is a lot more stable. When by the truck, it wouldn't be a bad option.

These new gen 2 sticks only weigh 1# which I would think it's a lot lighter then the tripod? Or are those pretty light?

Old thread but I was wondering how this is working out for the original posters or if anyone else is using the trigger stick with spotter? I've been thinking about trying the trigger stick as it would be a lot quicker to set up the spotter then it is with a tripod, the new gen 3 trigger stick now has a removable shoe to make switching from the yoke to a spotter even easier.

I don't own one but have been wondering if its sturdy enough with a spotter ?

Then Gen 3 tripod will support a spotter.

To OP - The heads on there rotate and adjust, so no ball adapter is needed. Just the gadget to screw into your binoculars that will accept a screw in the base.

I have a Vortex tripod and it is sturdy - kept playing with Gen 3 trigger Tipod and Monopod. Tripod is right at the heavy point for me carrying it all day tho.

Have 2 Gen 1 monopods - shot my muley this year using one. Had a Gen 2 bipod and it failed on one side. After fondling them at the stores - the Gen 3 seems a bit sturdier. I would not buy earlier versions if buying new.

Really like the trigger sticks - they keep improving and are a great concept. The idea of just squeezing the trigger and the legs extend is awesome - ever try flipping those little levers on one of the other versions when a buck is walking across the trail at 150 yards? Aint gonna happen. You either shoot offhand or use a trigger stick.

Put my spotter on mine today. Works fine. It’s a bit loose or wobbly, but not worse than my cheap Tripod that also has a bit of play in it. ITs worth considering as I enjoy having the trigger stick along for some hunts where you may have to shoot From a position other than prone, over tall grass etc.
