I use hornady one shot lube and wipe it off with an alcohol rag after sizing.

you should anneal, resize, trim, chamfer, deburr first, then clean them, then prime charge and seat. This guarantees no lube on loaded ammo. I do not clean first, I resize dirty. Cause I'm kinky like that.

If your barrel is getting really hot and you are cooking the rounds in the chamber you can increase pressure. Do not chamber a round until you are pretty close to shooting. Let the barrel cool down between groups. Varget is not supposed to be temperature sensitive but all powder is sensitive to an extent.
Nailed it. That's guaranteed in a hot barrel.

An Old Navy guy who was in world war II told me he had a 16 inch propellant charge cook off in a smokin hot barrel. It sent on its own. I said wow! He said no it's not a big deal. The big deal is if the 500 pound round goes off.

I use reloder 15. Don't want to get them too hot.
