Yeah, I was hoping that video would have done some in depth maintenance but he never cracked it open on the one I watch unfortunately! I’m sure it’s stupid easy and I’m making it harder than need be. HahaYou should listen to the advice that's already been given on this thread and find John Dudley's youtube videos showing how you properly take the release apart and clean it. This will show you how to access the spring in question without having it fly out. Hope you get it figured out. It shouldn't be acting like that and it seems like an easy fix. Cheers.
