What type of bubble level do your prefer for your scope? Integrated in to the rings, separately mounted to the scope tube or integrated into the picatinny rail? Im leaning towards the level integrated into the picatinny rail as it seems unobtrusive and your scope mount would have to fail for it to be out of alignment.

Tube mounted.
Definitely not in rings or on pic rail.
Thanks for the response!

What’s the advantage of tube mounted over the others? Is it the ability to ensure it’s exactly level? Do you ever worry about it getting knocked out of alignment?

I really like the integrated bubble level on my Hawkins Hybrids. I have a tendency to roll the rifle into my cheek and it’s an easy quick check for me when I get behind the gun.

I use SWFA's tube mounted level on most of mine. They are visible but don't extend to far...vertically or horizontally.

I do have 2 rifles set up with Hawkins Hybrids and I really like them...though I wish the rings were a touch lower.

I have one MKM billet rail mounted level. I prefer not to use it on a carry rifle as it catches on things. When comparing it to a 6' level it's been perfect so I often use it when initially installing a scope and leveling the reticle to a vertical string. Also use it often on odds/ends rifles or AR's. Again, I prefer tube mounted on carry rifles but this one gets a lot of use even if it doesn't stay on a rifle long.

.. I also like the position of a tube mounted level as I shoot both eyes open, so I don’t have to break position or look away. I jam mine up against the scope rings (in front of the turret housing). And if you’re worried about movement, you can add witness marks.
...

Same here on my tube mounted. The backside of the front ring gives a nice hard stop and enough distance to see with my offside eye.

Tube mounted. I've got a few, my favorites are the one from Lone Star (periodically available on Amazon) and oddly enough the one from Vortex (not the lo-pro, the other one similar to the Lone Star).

My go-to is the accuracy 1st but I'm swapping my mounts over to the Badger C1 system and they have one that mounts in the side so I'll probably be moving over to that as time goes on.

Tube mounted, or if it’s not, it needs to be adjustable. Iv specifically had problems with ring mounted levels and don’t care for them.

On a hunting gun my personal favorite even though it’s not adjustable is the integral spuhr level. Reason being is I’m not dealing with something sticking off the side of the gun when carrying. On the two mounts I own, both are plumb when my reticle is. I still use a more visible level for my match guns.
