Does anyone have any field photos of predator fall grey or ASAT? Preferably in a western landscape. I'm looking to change camo this year and I'm really interested in the Fall Grey but I can't deny the appeal of ASAT.

Those are my two favorite camo patterns, both are similar and work well in all terrains. I just like the looks of them but I think the hard lines in each do help break up the outline by playing tricks on how eyes perceive depth and shadows. That said I've said it before and I'll say it again, camo pattern choice is way way down on the list of importance. I wear a lot of solids don't notice a different on ungulates. Birds are a different story, they have some really good eyes.

The Predator is more visually appealing to me but I have more ASAT because of First Lite stuff. I have no problem mixing camo patterns, I could truly give a crap less, I just buy the best gear and choose whichever camo pattern is offered in that gear.

I think I can probably dig up a picture where I am wearing each one.

Here's a picture where I am wearing each, not a great field action photo for illustrating their effectiveness but throw in my Sitka hat and Multicam pack for comparison...yeah, a camo matching diva I am not.

Thanks! I couldn't agree more. As of right now I'm using a lot of the badlands realtree xtra gear. It's decent stuff but the pattern doesn't really break up my silhouette like the predator and ASAT should which is why I'm looking to switch. You have a point with the first lite gear, the merino may sway me to go with the ASAT just because I don't think Predator camo offers any merino.

Here is a better one. To my surprise the Kuiu vias pattern breaks up just like the fall grey. Different shades of color and the vias is rounded shapes instead of jagged lines. Camo is not that important to me except being out west a good break up helps when in the open.

Both are good. However I like the First Light clothes better than predator. I have the highline and adrenaline set but find them to have a little shine. But again, both patterns are good.
