Pre fit barrel advice

Hope everyone is doing well,

Can you guys advice on how to get hold of a quality Pre Fit carbon barrel, 6.5 PRC, 1:7.5 tw, I prefer 18' but 20' works too?
I did extensive research and I can't find any available, very long lead time.
My intended action is available, but didn't pull the trigger on it yet due to parts availability. I am looking into prefit CF barrel with either one of these actions: Impact NBK, Zermatt TL3 or Defiance GA Hunter

X-Caliber, Carbon 6, Preferred Barrel Blanks, Patriot Valley Arms, and there are even some others. I don't think proof offers anything other than 22" in their prefits but I could be wrong. Ive had the best luck with proof and PVA but I have a great criterion and x-caliber too but not quite as good as the first two.

The lead time is part of it. You can always try to find a blank in the contour you want but expect $350 or $400 for someone to chamber it along with a lead time.

If you can live with 22", you might be able to find a proof in stock somewhere. Best bet is to call around.

Oregon Mountain Rifles has carbon prefits. I have a 20" 7PRC on a Rem 700 action and it is a shooter.

Check with Blue Mountain Precision. They do excellent work.

They can throw a barreled action together for you (carry impact and Zermatt actions).

I have my first aftermarket barrel on the way. I went with X Caliber. It seems like they got positive reviews and had more twist rates available than some others I looked at.

You can buy that barrel today. Send it to a prefit smith or send the barrel and action to a smith.
