Pray for Charlie Kirk

Living under a rock
I had to ask two guys I’m hunting with who is was. Had no idea since I don’t watch tv, have social media and stay off the internet unless it’s related to hunting or fishing, too much garbage. Hate it for his family but thankful for what he did while he was with us. He died for his cause and I’m thankful for it, he’s a hero as much as a war veteran. RIP and prayers for his family.

As a young Christian man, same age as Charlie with two small kids… I can’t imagine what his wife and family is dealing with. The division is getting worse. Charlie was doing great things for the youth and providing an open platform for speaking publicly about hard topics. It seems to reoccur in history, that people with open minds, well spoken, and follow god end up getting shot at or murdered. Rip Mr. Kirk.

Did y'all know there was a school shooting today too?

Piss poor day for this country.
Yep, Colorado. Sort of buried in the news

As far as not knowing Kirk, took me a while to figure out who he was.
I'd like to think those supporting his death are followers doing it for "likes" and attention. Which honestly is one in the same.

Not sure where I stand on placing the flags at half-mast though.

DOZENS of people die every day from gun violence.

Plus other violent acts.

The little bit I've seen of him was talking about women belonging in the home not careers.. As a man married to a woman who has an excellent career but can't have kids...

I guess he's another name on the long list.
That’s a blatant lie. Just watching short clips with out context of a whole discussion is very bad way to find out what some one is actually saying.

Charlie was too innocent for politics I felt, he did speak about the threats but dont think he fully internalised it. I really cant believe it.

What a horrible thing. As someone from a country that had prolonged political violence I wouldn't recommend it but you have 3 years now to go after the progressive psychos who are currently laughing at this man's cowardly cold blooded murder.

If the Trump admin were any use whatsoever they'd be making extensive studies/ lists of any sympathizers.

In the 1970s thousands of bombs were set off in the US, those stopped because those activists got into power or directly influenced sitting American Presidents[Bill Ayers].

Think twice about going into large urban gatherings displaying any political affiliation. The USA is not in Kansas anymore. Good luck guys and gals

RIP Charlie

Ya that hit too close to home for me when I heard about it. While reading about Charlie I get the email from my kids high school about the district canceling all after school activities due to the school shooting.

And that's the attitude that will keep us in this place in time.

Don't care if you liked Charlie, he was a husband and a father. Those people will never see him again because of some coward.

How would your family feel if your name was on that list?
How would you feel if the person closest to you was on that list?

Mental health and hate are a real problem that need to be addressed.

This one has hit me very hard.

As a father, someone who leans right and conservative, and someone of Christian values, I really liked Charlie and really respected what he was doing.

It took tremendous courage to constantly enter the lion's den of ideas and mix it up with both students and professors at these events. He used ideas, facts, and well formulated arguments to challenge the myths and dogma taught at these universities. He did this with tremendous humility, never having attending or graduating from college himself. He was a leader in ever sense of the word and we lost a phenomenal person today.
Well said
