I've only paid full price for one pair and I'm still beating the crap out of them 4 years later. Prana Zions and Bridger jeans are pretty much the only pants I wear.

The only downside ive seen is they aren't that great for cold weather but that's why I have my Sitka Timberlines.

Throw a pair of merino base layers under them and I’ll rock them pretty much all winter too!

That works too!! I've been in right around freezing temps in mine with those Kuiu merino base layers and it wasn't bad.

Price, comfort, and they dry fast.. I like em.. Having said that, it's ok not to like something even if a lot of people do..

I bought several pairs of the Zions and the Brions for a trip to New Zealand a couple months ago. I have since quit wearing jeans and wear these all the time. Much more comfortable and they are great in the backcountry.
