I have the Prana Stretch Zion and really like them. For warmer weather, I have a pair of Outdoor Research Ferrosi pants. They are quite a bit lighter, and way more breatable. The Prana feels more durable. Can't really go wrong with either.

The color that was on sale was a brown that is darker than i like for hunting but i may use them anyway.

Yes, the brown is much darker than the photo on REI website. going to keep them anyway, but they aren't anything like the photo.

I realize this is an old thread, but I thought I'd ask here rather than start a new thread. How do these pants compare to the first lite guide pants? Is the fit similar? I'm looking to order another pair of guide pants in a solid color but thought I'd look at these as well.

Thanks for the feedback.

For me the Zion fit true to pants size... Have 34x34 with new sizing from prana and have their large x34 also.. The large x34 is a tad larger in waist than the new 34x34.. Was wearing the large first lite corrugates and I would say waist was bigger than 34 and the inseam was more like 32-33".. Hope this helps. Also the zions are quieter than the corrugate from me experience but corrugates have a little more stretch.. I am running zions for hunting now and sold the corrugates..

Ill just reuse this thread again. Someone mentioned the noise possibly going away after a few washes. Is this true? I wasn't particularly happy with the noise level of them straight out of the package.

I really like the Prana's. I have a few pair that have been washed quite a bit and they are much softer and quieter than when brand new

Has anyone had a seamstress tailor your pants so the legs aren't so wide? I'm used to way the corrugate guide pants fit and thought about having then tailored to a similar cut.

Thanks for the replies. I was really happy with the fit and feel but double guessing my purchase after I walked a few laps around the house with them compared to my old hunting pant.

Which PrAna pants most resembles the kuiu attack? Looking to get some cheaper solid color pants that I can wear scouting and spring bear when I don't feel like wearing a kuiu costume. Something similar in weight and warmth. Maybe a tad lighter than attack.
