Power Throw Lever

My NX8 came with a power throw lever, I’ve never used one before, any reason not to put it on? Couldn’t find much on Google so wanted to see who does and doesn’t use them.

They work great. Only reason to not use one is if it interferes with the throw of your bolt, either at max or min power, depending on which scope you have. Some Nightforce scopes zoom opposite directions.

I am undecided on these things for a hunting rifle myself. The last two scope purchases had them. Cool? Yes. Do they work? Yes.
Are they needed for hunting? No. I see they could hang up on things, gear.
Regardless, mine are on for now until further evaluation.

I can't hardly function without one now. Makes changing magnification with cold hands while looking through the scope without moving the rifle soooo much easier on most scopes.

Definitely liked using during 3rd season Colorado only nock would be that when I was using mid range magnification it can block my bubble level
