I was wondering what your top 3 go to powders for for 9mm 45 223 6.5cm and 300wm thank you

I can’t speak for all and I have loaded only a little for 9mm a bit more for 45 and none for 6.5 or 300win

That being said both my brother in law and one of my good buddies love Hodgdon H4350 for 6.5 creed.

As for the 45 I have used bullseye and longshot, I have not used much of the longshot yet, but bullseye works, but is dirty, Smokey and slow.

It depends a lot on the weight bullets you are using. For 223 55gr I like Benchmark, 6.5 H4350, also used W760 which is easier to find a lot of times, 300WM H4350.


If you had to, W760, H414 can be used in both big rifles. Several times I have matched available powers to as many cartridges as possible to ease the pain when it’s hard to find. Get an big bottle, use that one for as many as possible

I use unique for all my hand guns. It just works. For the rifles, my go to are H4350, H4895 and reloader 15/19
