Wow. all black german sheperd is beautiful. What inspired you to use him as a pack dog. Did you plan that when you bought him or just thought it would be cool. Awesome man.
Thanks. I didn't, she is just a family dog. She's 8 and that was only her 2nd hunting trip, i just decided to start taking her with me last year

Awesome bow, awesome animals, and even more awesome dog. What breed?

She is a Catahoula Leopard Dog. Now 2 1/2yrs old. IMG_20220821_104956869.jpgShe has literally been with me on every hunt or Trail Adventure since the day I got her. She will sit quietly while I literally have a pack of wolves around me or a black bear coming in at 30 yards.

I have spent a tremendous amount of time training her to hunt exactly as I want her to, and nowadays I can't imagine going into the woods without her. She is the perfect partner!

Mine's just a Z1S with a Quivalizer and a Shrewd 10in rear stabiliser. It's also got 80# Ventum limbs on it and it's pulling about 77# at the moment. About to go to a 475gn arrow and once I use up a couple dozen of them on deer/goats/pigs I'll probably go to something over 500gn for winter boars. Change from a 150gn to a 200gn broadhead or something, for a bit of fun.

Mando? Are…are you Pedro Pascal?!

Couple of my older Martins. Waiting on a new Alpha X but I’m not ditching these babies. They both are sweet shooters. Hopefully that Alpha X will be even better but if it’s as least as good as these then it will be a win for me. I love accurate bows!

Did you go 30 or 33? I shot both, but being my old bow was a 29” ATA and they both felt amazing, I opted for the shorter of the 2.

Either way, I bet you’re gonna like it.

I went with the 33 but with a draw length of 30 I hope that doesn’t put me too far at the bottom of the module. Im excited to shoot it

V3X 33, 30” DL threw strings on it after the first year and twisted the cables to get 80 lbs out of it. Shoots great, really happy with the bow. Kinda eying a 29 to compliment it for the treestand/saddle work but for now this is the only pony in the stable (aside from the recurve I hardly ever shoot because I suck).

Unfortunately all it has drawn blood on is a couple of freezer queens thus far (bloody arrow from last year still in quiver). Fingers crossed I draw a tag and I’ll have a chance to run an arrow through a moose this September.

New to try this year:
75 mods
4mm Storm arrows
A fourth .010 pin on the Mountain Ascent slider.(already know I should have stuck with .019)
IW 125grn buff s series
Also thinking about trying the Hamskea arrow rest. The QAD/mathews IMX seems a little flemsy.
Don't usually run a bar, I plan to one day do some long distance testing with and without.

Definitely some sweet hunting rigs out here.

I have the Hoyt rx7 ultra in wilderness green, qad integrate drop away, mbg pro 3 pin sight, tight spot arrow quiver, shooting victory rip tko arrows with annihilator broadheads. It's a solid set up for me.20231030_110709.jpg20220810_140149.jpg

I’ve been focused on some rifle hunts. Hopefully I get drawn for a few good archery tags next year.
