I just got this rifle set up a few months ago, and it is a hammer. Kimber MT 7mm WSM, cut to 20” and threaded 1/2-28”. I’m shooting 162 ELDMs at 2930 with 7828ssc and it perked with those pretty easily.
I set this rifle up to be a guiding rifle and most of my hunts in grizz country fell through this year. I have knocked my head around quite a bit in my life and I’m just kind of a pansy overall and the rifle is just a bit snappier than I like anymore. With a can it’s very shootable, but 22s and 6’s have spoiled me. I also textured the grip and forearm, painted, and clear coated it. This thing is ready to smash game, as it sits.
Curious what’s out there for possible trades, I am interested in other Kimber Montanas in 7mm/08, 6 Creed, 6.5 Creed, Barrett Fieldcrafts in the same carts, lightweight stainless 700s, and stainless Tikkas in the same carts listed. No scope would be included but I’d include dies, ADG brass, and 2 sets of rings.
