Positive Mountain Extreme Experience

I just wanted to post on a positive experience that I had with Kenetrek. I bought my mountain extremes last year and absolutely love them. By far the most comfortable boots that I've ever had. I've got bad ankles, from the Marine Corps, and rolled an ankle on the vast majority of hikes I've been on since I was 18. I almost rolled my ankle once last year in the boots, however was able to catch myself because of their support. Apparently, at elk camp I set them too close to my camp stove and the toe as well as the toe rand were starting to delaminate. I sent the boots in last month and they stated that the damage was heat related, however they fixed them for free. Customer service at this company is amazing and I will absolutely continue to shop from them.

Good for you (and them) ! They are certainly a high quality boot, but mine didn't fit me so I moved on. I was disappointed I couldn't make them work out for me. I have heard lots of Positive feedback for their customer service. Make sure you use only their waterproofing wax on them, using anything else might cause the rand to delaminate.
