I'm signing up for 3-4 nrl hunter events this year and looking to get a bag that will serve me well for these competitions. I'm a novice to that style of competition and of the "positions" I'd be shooting from. Got a few barricades, barrels, etc to setup at our range for practice leading up to these events. If you had to choose one bag to purchase to use for this stuff, what would it be?

From reading others posts im conflicted on to go with an speclite filled bag I can use hunting or a heavy bag that is super stable. I've got a 2-5 bag from ls wild I take on hunts and as a rear bag on the range. Also have a mini fortune cookie I've used as a rear bag and it has the bead type fill.

A git lite filled bag. I run the Bone Bag we make for Scott Satterlee. It’s got a following for NRL Hunter.

But, a plate bag for glassing ranging off a tripod is used every stage. That’s what you should get and use your Weibad on props.

Our plate bag gets used a lot and I developed it with a match director.

I actually just recieved your plate yesturday and was messing around with it and using the 2-5 bag strapped to it. Seemed to work alright, maybe a little large for the plate. Or am I not knowing what I'm missing by using a dedicated plate bag?

And maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot but I'm not seeing a bone bag on your website.

Dedicated makes it easier, so it can cradle the binos and rifle. Pm your address and I will send one for you to compare for me. Gitlite makes it better too.
