Pig hunting is Oregon is pretty non existent. There are very few pigs here and most of them are on private property.

You may want to look not in Portland itself (unless you like paying taxes) but in the suburbs (depending on where your job will be). Anywhere in Washington or Clackamas county seem to be a lot better than Multnomah (where Portland is located) county.
I live in Clackamas, which is just east of Portland. I love my community (very pro gun/lots of outdoorsy people).
There are a lot of clubs around but most of these are duck/goose/upland places. Most of the big game hunting is done through guides instead of ranches.
There is a lot of opportunity for chasing big game and birds all over the state. I believe I last heard that he state is comprised of 53% public land. That isnt a whole lot, but its a lot better than back east.
