Portable shooting bench

This is portable shooting bench I made, it weighs about 25# when assembled. You can sit, stand or kneel to shoot.

a different approach to swinging the rifle -the whole rifle vs swinging the muzzle on the rest. i would guess you tighten the knob after moving it?

Yes swing the table top and lock it down.

No, there are three composite roller bearings that the table-top rests on.

I should note that the design is not mine, I copied from a fellow shooter. I don't know who designed it originally, but if I do, I'll make sure to mention his name.

That looks awesome! How stable is it? The trouble that I've had with all of the portable shooting benches is that they always seem to have just a little wobble.

It’s like a rock. Totally adjustable for your favorite shooting position of sitting, kneeling or standing.

What did you use for the legs? Looks like rugged buddy style sawhorse legs? How is it height adjustable?

1 1/2” Aluminum pipe with 1 1/4” pipe inside that can be set to any position and locked in place by means of a threaded “T” nut.

Oh nice. That’s pretty clever and definitely cheaper than buying the pre-made tripod legs.
