Pop-Up Truck Bed Camper Question

I have a Ford F150 with a 5.5' foot bed. Most of the pop-up style truck bed campers I have looked at seem to be designed for 6 foot beds. I have no prior experience and don't really know anyone that owns one. Is it possible to use one of these 6 foot pop-up campers in a 5.5 foot bed?

You are going to take your tail gate off anyway, only difference is the step up. On 6’ bed you can step on bumper and then into camper.

On 5.5 you will have to use a different option… trailer hitch, stool, cooler.

The new scout Olympic pop up is a completely price option to 4wheel camper

Hower built is what I would go with personally. They make a 5.5 option

Not to steer you from this forum, but www.expeditionportal.com has an entire pop up camper section that seems somewhat active and has many knowledgeable people.
They might be answer any specific questions or other concerns you might have. Not implying anyone here can’t.

I had an AT Habitat on my Ram with a 5'7" bed. Go Fast, Harker and a dozen others make them for 5'5" beds.
