Anyone use a pop up ground blind when calling predators?
I'm thinking about giving it a try to keep dry or out of the wind. Wondering if coyotes or other predator pick out the blind?

I've called from stands and blinds and have gotten coyotes that way. I wouldn't go through the trouble of hauling a ground blind out to a spot if I intended to call right after setting up. Too much disturbance and effort for my taste. Different story if you set up a blind by a bait site and then occasionally called at your bait site from the blind.

A groundblind for yotes kinda doesn't make sense. Especially since at most you'll be at a particular spot for only 30-45 min tops.

Just get : leafy suit jacket / facemask / liner gloves.

Then get you a sit solution like this one!~. My new favorite sit solution. (Obviously I just got the black one, not the weirdo tie-dye one.)

They put you real close to the ground, but with great comfort and the feet DON'T sink in hardly at all, even on really soft stuff! (And I weigh 220lbs so that's saying something) this is critical for me since I have multiple bulging discs in my lumbar, I need that back support.

In terms of the leafy. If your budget is tighter... checkout the suits by North Mountain Gear.

Recently been bringing using the First-Lite jacket/mask combo. I like that it weighs even less and have better airflow. (Most of the time you're dealing with lotta heat in SoCal) And it squishes down nice and small in the pack, important when you're lugging around FoxPro + Decoy in there.

Like them a lot for baited set up. Added benefit of scent containment. Used to night hunt over roadkill when I lived in Michigan and would hear them coming in…then they disappeared. Figured it was the swirling winds. Put up a pop up and they strolled right in. Back then we could only use rim fire at night so would set up pretty close @ 40 yards. Pop up was a game changer.D0CAC987-9CCE-48F5-A42A-15345C6E464E.jpeg
