Was looking for a bipod solution for being able to take long stable shots and be maneuverable still on sets. I would love a triple pull but a grand isn't in the budget this year for a bipod, thought I was set on a tricer rp but theres stands that I need almost all the height in my swagger 42s so the tricer was a little too short. The swaggers have been great to me and are hand but super bulky and they lack a little stability for long shots. Was in scheels grabbing some bullets and looking at tripods and the leupold alpine grabbed my attention thinking what if I yanked a leg off it to use for a bipod setup. Instead of messing with a 400 dollar what if I bought the surui 225 with ball head on Amazon for 110 bucks. After hunting with it all weekend I will definitely say its a solid setup especially for the money, the ball head taked a little getting used to but makes it super handy at times as well.
