WTB Polartec Alpha Jacket

Hard to find deals on Alpha gear, add the Outdoor Research Ascendant to your list.

Or an Alpha base paired with a breathable lightweight windbreaker. Senchi and Superior Fleece would be the places to look for those. They sell extremely fast both new and 2nd hand on ULgeartrade on Reddit.

The Senchi lark w/ polartec alpha 90 direct is absolutely incredible. Couldn’t recommend more (if you can find one).

He has a drop happening soon I think, check the website for dates.

Thanks so much guys! I've emailed several of the cottage manufacturers and they're planning some drops soon. Really appreciate the feedback.
Of the two, would you recommend Senchi or Superior Fleece? Looks like they're both Alpha Direct. Superior Fleece offers 120 weight and is a little cheaper.

Senchi will sometimes release heavier weight alpha hoodies, just depends on the drop. The Lark 90 weight I find very comparable to the Sitka heavyweight hoody except in the wind, if it’s windy you gotta have a shell. But on still days or under a shell it’s about perfect for any fall hunt as a mid layer.

Late season hunting a 120 weight would probably be better.

Copy that. Thanks! Any experience with Primaloft Active Evolve?

There was a big drop of senchi polartech alpha jackets a day or two ago on Reddit. Might want to keep an eye on the UL backpacking sale pages
