My new MDT bipod is just a bit short to suit me. Atlas makes some knurled 3" leg extensions for $59 bucks, but I'm way too cheap to go that way. I couldn't find any CF or aluminum tube the right size laying around, but dug thru the plumbing bucket and found 1/2" copper couplers fit over the CF legs just right. So I sweated up a couple short extensions and drilled them out for rollpins. I did have to spend a whole dollar fifty to get 2) 5/8ths, and 2) 3/4" x 1/8th inch roll pins at the hdwe store. Painted them flat black when done......

I have a herd of Harris bipods, but only one 6-9 incher. It's pretty worthless except off a bench. The 9-13 inchers work a lot better prone or for clearance over the sideboards on the truck bed. I have the short Atlas with extensions, and a couple Warne lites that clear the truck bed. Just hadta get the MDT taller, too...... I like these better than the Harris, because the legs will fold both directions, and fit in some rifle cases better with them pointed back'ards. They also work fine on a bench with the legs at at 45 degrees, something the Harris won't do.
