PNW and gunpowder

As a newcomer to the PNW, I'm wondering if I need to take precautions with storing gunpowder and primers in this high humidity environment. I used to just keep all my reloading stuff in the garage in storage bins. Is it too moist to do this and should I be keeping gunpowder and primers inside? Would running a dehumidifier be enough for the garage?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

I spent most of my life in the PNW and just recently moved to WY. I used to always keep my powder and primers inside out of the humidity, but that may not be necessary. I also never had any issues with the cartridges going bang, either.

I thought we had excessive humidity here in South Louisiana. If you are concerned about it, put the powder containers in a garbage bag, drop in some dessicant packs, and seal the bag with a twist tie. Put the bag in a plastic tote, and put it on a shelf. Don't store it on the concrete floor. A room dehumidifier can help also.
