I have several Pnuma items and love them, but their return process was not streamlined, was too time consuming for me. Needed to fill out several forms in multiple email exchanges. If return/exchange is difficult then lifetime warranty doesnt worth as much as it sounds. Sitka in contrast is available on Amazon Prime, you can easily order a few items and keep the one you really like.

I just caught a good sale on Camofire to give Pnuma a try. I bought the Gunnison Merino Wool Hoodie and a pair of Tenacity pants. We'll see if there's a place for it with my Woolrich, Johnsons, Filson and Kryptek.

Might be a bit of an old thread but I'll chime in. Ordered three sets of pants, none of them fit and they were all incredibly loud. I nearly packed them back up. Filed for a return and then my mother slipped on ice and I had to take care of her for a few months. it wasnt until now that I had a chance to send it back. (All unworn and unused mind you) and I explained the circumstances to them. They shipped it back and told me to pound sand

Another update, they wont respond to emails anymore and I realized the reason I wasn't worried about the return before was because the receipt itself says "Return period of 30 days" of which I filed and had a return number and shipping label so I assumed I had fallen within that 30 days. It says nothing about them receiving it within that time. But what it really means it from the time of purchase, you have 30 days to get it back to them.....so in the mean time I'm out 500 bucks :D

since you said "none of them fit & they were all incredibly loud" I'm guessing you want to sell them?
PM me the model, sizes & price and i will gladly add them to my pnuma collection.

I've currently opened a dispute with PayPal over the original charges so I may end up sending them back after all.

Also I should mention, although the customer service has been poor. They have been polite and courteous when they did respond. Im not trying to put the company on blast and feel I may have come off a bit too critical. They are following policy, the policy may be unreasonable and poorly/improperly stated in some areas, but can be a matter of poor choices, not necessarily a lack of care

I just picked up the 3L Rain Gear. Very impressed so far. Tried Kuiu, FL, SKRE and liked these best.

I would not buy it. I spent several hundred dollars on their heated base layers, based on their website’s sizing guidelines and i have enough extra on the sleeve to fold it over up to my forearm and on the legs to fold it back up to the middle of my shin. I contacted customer service, i’ve had the outfit 3 weeks and worn it once. Their lifetime guarantee is void if you have worn tge outfit because “they can’t resell it.” Their best suggestion was to take it to a seamstress and pay to have it altered. Worthless. Now i have $300 in an outfit that is supposed to be “next to skin warmth” that bunches up and is not next to skin and not warm. The battery life on the layers is also extremely optimistic.

Strange on the sizing. I have the heated vest and leggings and the sizing has been spot on in size L. If you want to stay warm this stuff works.

Same here. No issues with sizing or battery life. I love that heated vest, it's a godsend if stationary.

It’s on the heavy side but I’m not mountain hunting so it won’t affect me. So far all is good, and I picked up almost all pieces (3L top and bottom in solids and Selkirk camo top and bottom) at 40% - 50% off mostly from a retailer where it wasn’t selling well. I will keep lighter Sitka pieces and probably sell off some new with tag Sitka I bought a few days before. I picked up before I stumbled across the Pnuma outer layers.

One good thing about Sitka/Kuiu no problem selling that if you want to move on.

Yeah the Selkirk is crazy heavy. The 3L is pretty darn reasonable weight wise though.

Same same, sizing is spot on. 6' 4" 230 and long legs. The inseam is perfect fit along with the sleeves.

It doesn’t fit me at all. Not comfortable all bunched up, just wish, for $300 i could exchange what i bought for the right size. Since there is nowhere near to try this stuff on, since it is direct to consumer, it would be nice if they had a better return policy. Their website says lifetime guarantee. That is not true

It is not direct to consumer anymore and hasn't been for a few years. They've been selling it in my local Scheel's for a couple years and I know it can also be purchased from midway USA & Sportsmans guide.

Just kind of weird that everybody else who has chimed in has said there sizing is spot on besides you.

When they released the pathfinder pant I purchased a pair and the first pair did not fit and they exchanged them immediately for the correct size no questions asked.

It would be interesting to know your specifications and what size you bought. As this isn't the experience others are reporting and if someone your size can find it useful.

However, their return and exchange does say exactly what they told you. See images. These garments are classified as underwear and can't be resold. Might be the difference and they should say that in the product description.

Seems true to size. I have the Selkirk, 3L top and bottom and Pallisade puffy. I purchased that and several Sitka nearly all at 50% off post season.

May sell off the Sitka cooler weather gear since it still has tags on once i test it out. Selkirk definitely for cooler weather even though it’s not insulated. We get so much cold rain in Louisiana I have used uninsulated Gore Tex with or without layers for about 20 years with good success, as long as you pack in top layer or jacket.

I can see it would be heavy for mountain hunting but unless you carry a ton of gear (I’m switching to saddle climbing) it should be good for most deer hunting purposes.

Their website under warranty says if you have any issues it will be fixed. I looked before i bought. And there have been less than 10 people on here saying the fit was good. It’s not a great sample size either way. I have a friend that has had the same issue, luckily he left the tags on. So he left the tags on and put it on and they can sell it if he returns it, i took the tags off and put it on and they can’t resell it. I put mine on over a thin wool layer, his was on his bare nuts. Makes perfect sense?

The fact that they want you try it on means either way you could be putting it on your bare butt, so they should not be able to sell it if returned.
