Folks, I recently bought the Pnuma Insulator jacket. Since no one on this site seemed to have experience, I thought I'd post this very short review:

The jacket arrived 4 days after I ordered it. To my surprise, upon opening the box, I saw that it was wrapped in a high-quality dry-bag - which I intend to make use of over many years. I wore the jacket 2 days later on a morning when it was 39 F, wind of 10 MPH and relatively high humidity. Under the jacket, I had a single layer of merino wool as a base. Based upon my experience with my Kuiu Kenai (which I like very much), the Insulator was much warmer. From my perspective, the Insulator is a great choice for hunters who are not backpacking or climbing mountains (and it still may be but I just didn't encounter those conditions). The outer fabric also appears to be very durable and is treated to repeal water - it is also more resistant to wind than is the Kuiu. The only concern I have about the jacket is that the durability is compromised by an increase in the noise. I'm a trad/primitive archer who takes shots of 20 yards or less . . . so I'm very concerned with any sound. This jacket is a tad loud but with winds of 10 mph or more, it won't be an issue for trad hunters. Overall, I'd say this is the BEST hunting jacket for all conditions that I've ever looked at. And at $140 to your door - it is a very good bargain! Best, Smoke.

Good question. I'd say the jacket packs down to be about 15 % larger than the size of my packed Kuiu Kenai jacket. Again, it is much warmer than the Kenai so I'd expect it to be a bit bigger.
