Has anyone found a larger battery that fits?
Really like the vest minus the battery life.

I also have a second battery, but it's real pain to change in a tree with my safety harness on. If not for loosing the lifetime warranty, I'd replace the connector with a longer one that fit a larger battery.I haven't yet. I bought 2 batteries so I could get thru most of the day on low. Would be nice to have one that lasts longer on medium and high.

Any update on this project?I'm working on using 2 18650 in series (2x 3.7v = 7.4v), I'll update if I end up building a box.
Unfortunately I never got around to it. Now that it's going to start getting cold again, I should probably look into it again.Any update on this project?
That's the battery that I was thinking about picking up. At $20 it's too cheap for me to justify the time and materials to make my own. Here's what I came up with. Sometimes the vest turns off and I have to unplug and reconnect and turn the vest back on again? Most of the time it'll run all day with no problems.
