Platypus big zip and sawyer quick connect help

I am trying to use the sawyer quick disconnect with a platypus big zip evo. The sawyer is made for 1/4” hose and the big zip is 5/16” and they aren’t tight at all. I have read where others use this and was wondering how. Thanks

can't remember the name of my quick disconnect but I got it from REI and it works with my Platypus fine

im trying to find the right size to. the sawyer ones dont find the 5/16 tubing

I just bought a 1/4” hose of off amazon and got it to work with the platypus bladder

I ended up buy a replacement hose kit and just used both quick connects off of it.
