I put leaves and such in my hunting clothes bins. gives em that earthy neutral scent.

I use Nose Jammer spray on my lower body and boots before I walk in. I don't know if it helps to not get winded, but I've had several deer smell my trail and follow it to the bottom of my tree

Watch the plants. If the breeze aims the plants to you or close to you....you're good. If not, you're betting on hope.
