Planning a Kodiak Island Blacktail trip

You guys that have been there give me your best advice pls. Will be my second trip to Alaska. Want to know logistics, best time of year. Want to stay on the island not a boat. Any advice will be appreciated. PM please

I'm going this fall with Larson Bay Lodge. A friend has been several times with them and highly recommended them to me. the first week of December, the weather pushes more deer lower.

Best time of year is debatable

Give ideas to your air taxi and see what they think for those areas.
