Pit Barrel Cooker

I've had one for a couple years and love it. Did meat loaf saturday and a pork shoulder for pulled pork yesterday. Amazing ribs has a sub forum on the PBC which is a great source for tips and tricks.
 
I have one and like it. I seem to suffer from a unique one that is a pain to get lighted and maintain temp.

It seems to burn too cool for what the design intends to do, which is burn a bit hotter than a traditional smoker. To get it to act like everyone other PBC I had to either crack the lid or remove one of the bars. Otherwise it doesn't get enough oxygen to burn as planned.
