What's everyone preference? Needing to pick up a holster and unsure if I should get one for my chest or for my belt?

Bear spray is always on the left side of my pack belt. I figure the spray is for times when I run into a bear and have time to react so having it on my weak side is fine.

If I'm in grizz country (where I live) the gun is on my hip (drop-leg holster) for quick access. Hunting anywhere else I stick it in my chest rig.

my revolver is on my chest (attached to the bino harness); bear spray is on my left shoulder strap- both are easy to reach w/ my strong hand

revolver on my bino pack. Bear spray on the pack waist belt or on my bino pack. Right hand draw revolver and spray on the left. I read that the best thing was to just spray from the holster and not try to get it out so I'm not worried about drawing the bear spray.
