Anybody have any pics of how one would attach a holster to a kifaru duplex frames waist belt? Or would I have to go with a thigh holster?

I thought about it, but now I carry mine in a FHF bino carrier on my chest. I carry my binos across my body under my arm, so my chest is "available" space and then if I take my pack off for a stalk or something, I've still got my sidearm with me.

But to your question, with the webbing on the pack, I bet there's a tactical, MOLLE type holster out there somewhere that'll hold it.

This is how I have ran my glock 29 for the last 4 years. Zero issues.

Here are pictures of the Blackhawk nylon holster I have used the last 2 years. I carried a Taurus Tracker 44mag. Last year I didn't have the small pocket on the right side of the belt, so I could place the holster anywhere. This year I added the small pocket and moved the holster farther back. The nice thing about this holster is the ability to take it off and put it on your belt if you leave a pack behind. This holster is cheap and has work well for me.

I have a custom holster FHF made that has pals webbing and attaches via malice clips. I had a very difficult time finding a nice holster that would fit my ultra lite Taurus 44, seems like companies only build big beefy holsters for the magnums.

I carry my Glock 29 in a small belt pouch. Keeps the pistol concealed from hikers, and protects the pistol also.

I use a simple nylon Holster on a Kifaru holster converter on my Crew Cab it is two plastic clips and a heavy piece of black nylon with slots for the clips.
My Glock 29 and S&W Shield 9mm both fit well. It is not concealed. I carry it on the left side so to not bump my rifle all the time.
I wear a pancake style holster under so if I take my pack off I can still have my handgun with me.
the piece from Kifaru was 13 bucks and I added when I bought the Gun Bearer system.

I don't understand why people coddle hikers? You are not the first person I've heard this from. Hikers can suck it..... If I can't get to it in seconds there is no point in carrying it.

I carry my pistol with me at all times including training hikes in the city and although I can legally carry there also I don't want it be an issue. I could careless about hikers when I'm hunting or backpacking. I've just gotten used to carrying this way, but your right I'm sure I'm a few seconds slower then a guy using a dedicated holster.

Crossfire Elite Safari holster mounted onto the Kifaru holster converter. It's worked on my Eberlestock Gunslinger and Kifaru T1.

Man you guys have it so awesome. We can't even take a pistol outside unless to a dedicated range. Let alone into the back country to protect ourselves. So jealous. Keep it together, rob.
