Pistol Laser Training Cartridge?

I think it can lead to training scars by having you look for a laser instead of focusing on fundamentals during daily dry fire drills.

Im also too cheap to buy one so take that for what it’s worth.

I use a G-Sight ELMS for my 9mm's quite a bit, 150 ish dryfires a week year round and much more when I am prepping for a competition. I've found those tend to last me the longest of any of the various ones I've tried over the years and seem to actually "shoot" truest to the bore.

Combine them with something like the MantisX systems and they can be extremely useful. They won't replace actual rounds downrange of course but they are amazing for practicing trigger control and draws.

That is an issue I have seen with some of the people who have came to the pistol classes I teach, they look for the laser and not at their sights which ruins their follow through and follow up shots.

To avoid that issue, I always recommend using a reactive target or an app that tracks the "impact" whenever using one of the laser cartridges. That way you aren't looking to see where you hit but just listening for the beep or checking your phone afterward.
