The fit is different, baggier leg bottoms, tighter waist, higher crotch - but the biggest change is the material. Might be half the thickness of the older version and just feels like it would be swiss cheese after a trip through light brush.

edit: just for clarity, I wear the regular zions, not the slim version so I cant speak on how the newer version of that one fits.
