Nice bit of wood for the handle scales. (y)(y)(y)
Thank you. I ordered it May 23, 2021 and told him "I would like desert ironwood scales with dramatic contrast, light and dark, and will wait as long as it takes you to find the right wood." Arrived June 9 of this year. Totally worth the wait. :)

3 from Mr. Gene Ingram arrived this week. He’s retired now I think I’ll be one of the last ones to get a custom from him. Waited two years and sent him a nice set of ironwood burl scales to use.

3 new Half Face Blades

Left to Right
-Crow Jr Honduran Rosewood/White Gold Turquoise/Bog Oak Bolster
-Crow Cub Elk Antler/Coral/Honduran Rosewood
-Featherlight Elk Antler with Jade split

The Elk antler was from the shed I found on my once in a lifetime tag last fall. Very close to where I killed my bull. Awesome looking knives from HFB.

I went on a custom knife binge for several years, and these are the three that I kept. The top is a Gossman Tusker in CPM154, the middle one is a Matt Lesniewski Kephart and the bottom on is a Matt Paul Bushcraft hunter.

I also had an order in with Gene Ingram that was close to two years and as mentioned above he quit making knives. I was back to square one and decided to have a similar one made by Charles May. He was also two plus years out, BUT @NDGuy came to the rescue and let me get in on his order that was just about to happen.

Received this the other day- it's the Bird & Trout II LB (long blade- 4") in SV30- perfect length, profile and steel for a boning knife for big game AND with orange G10 easier to find when I know I will eventually put it down in the grass! :D. Thanks @NDGuy

Tyler worked with me to design the shape and features of the custom knife I wanted. This is #0001 of the "Infidel" line he started after he made mine.

Tyler is 2x Forged in Fire winner and Army veteran.

This knife has processed several whitetails and assisted with the bull I shot last fall.
