For over 30 years I would spend a month in Alaskan bush hunting moose for our family to eat. My beautiful wife n me got the opportunity to stake 20 acres of remote recreational cabin land in the middle of a kazillion acres of public land 09E7C847-A67E-4254-84C1-CD839F855A40.jpeg77A3B9D3-A852-4334-9FA9-AB762DF63FD7.jpeg2C9CF3B6-F34E-4E96-87B4-CCA17BC1BB18.jpegIMG_2615.JPGIMG_2727.jpgand went for it. Now we have a beautiful 16x24 log cabin to hang our hat in. As I got older I knew I would always want to be able to continue to get out into the bush and would need a cabin. I guess dreams can come true. I was able to call in a 58" non typical moose for our son to harvest and just spend a bunch of time with my beautiful wife just hanging out.
A couple of pictures of our cabin. I wrote to Jordan Jonnas from the TV show alone and asked him if he would like to come up n go moose hunting and he accepted. What a great guy and the hardest working hunter I've ever been around. He got the opportunity for a shot on a mid fiddy bull but his scope was damaged and he missed. But he never complained and we had a great time.
